In Loving Memory
Prins Marius, born 1951, Blue mackerel / white
Belonged to my aunt and next-door neighbour, but he was my best friend for many years.
I dressed him with my doll’s clothes, and he slept in my doll’s pram.
My aunt and her family moved away, taking Prins Marius along, but I saw him every time we went there for a visit.
Unfortunately he was killed by the train when I was 6. I mourned him for a long time, and now it brings back happy childhood memories when I look at the few photos I have of him.
Prins Marius, Pan’s Truls are responsible for me having NFC’s today.

Dolly P., 24.6.80-16.11.91, Black/white
Dolly P was my first cat. She moved in because, she would have been put to sleep if I had not agreed to be owned by a cat. Her mother was a NFC, but her father was a Persian.
I wanted to have Dolly recognized as a Novice, but somehow she managed to get out of the kennel every time I planned to take her to a meeting in NSR.
Dolly got cancer and was operated 3 times, but when she started to feel pain, she was put to sleep at 11½ years.
She was a very special cat, selective about her friends, who will live forever in my heart.

Theodor, 16.08.91-25.9.02
Gaupeskogen’s Ulabrand, Red mackerel / white, NFO d 09 23
Theodor was the first pedigree NFC in the cattery. He hated shows and just went to a few during his 11 years. He loved children and had many young friends in the neighbourhood. He did not like kittens very much, or more correctly, he was afraid of their mothers. But, when the kittens started to play around the house, he was their favourite uncle.
Unfortunately he became very ill during his last few days, and there was no other choice than put him to sleep.
He is deeply missed
Lotte, 17.01.97-23.11.02
EC (N) Selteteigen’s Charlotte, Black classic / white, NFO n 09 22
Lotte was the only kitten that survived in the litter, and of course she had to stay. She went to quite a few shows to get the last certificates for EC, but she finally made it, even though she had damage to one ear. Unfortunately she became very unclean and fought the other cats all day, so there was nothing else to do but to put her to sleep. Apart form her uncleanness, she was a sweet and loving cat, and living in a cage for the rest of her life was out of the question. She is also missed deeply.
Freyja, 24.06.94-10.07.97
(N) Selteteigen’s Freyja, black mackerel, NFO n 23
Freyja was the only kitten of my pride and joy Nadia and the first (N) Selteteigen’s litter. She just had to stay. Medium in size, with the perfect look and fur-quality. But, unfortunately her temper turned real bad when her first and only kitten, Lotte was 2 months old, so the only option was to put her to sleep. Bad tempered yes, but still a special cat. In spite of her temper, she is missed, much for her beauty.

Bandit, 02.11.97-14.02.98
(N) Selteteigen’s ThorD Bandit, Black/white, NFO n 09
Bandit was another one-litter kitten in the cattery. He got his name after the Zorro-like black mask in his face. A sweet and loving kitten who unfortunately did not live long enough. Very sad, but this sometimes happens.
