My name is Ina Rebekka Selte.  I was born in Oslo, but moved to a neighbouring community almost 30 years ago.  After being divorced in 2002, I decided to move even further away from Oslo and to change my surname to Selte.
 

I had a longhaired domestic cat named Dolly P. for 12 years before I bought the
first Norwegian Forest Cat with a pedigree, Gaupeskogen's Ulabrand, a wonderful red mackerel/white male.
My prefix, (N) Selteteigen's, was registered in FIFe in 1993 and my first litter was born in 1994.
I show my cats quite often, mainly to obtain international titles, but also to meet other cat-lovers. I now have a lot of cats, some of them rather old and some very young. And, I love them all.
Since 1992 I have been working for my local cat-club, Norsk Skogkattring - NSR and the Norwegian federation Norske Rasekattklubbers Riksforbund - NRR. I also help out if I am asked to give a hand at various clubs during shows.
I have throughout the years learned a lot and made a lot of friends within the
cat-fancy, and for that I am very grateful.
